Dianne and I have never had any money ahead but with a lot of hard work we carved a little homestead out of the Manson Creek forest. With mostly home milled lumber and logs we built a home and small farm raising and selling vegatables, meat, eggs, and milk products. In summer of 1993 after being encouraged by many in our community we decided to rebuild our then porch in to a small store. We had for several years had no store in Manson Creek. |

| In mid December 1993 we had opened our small store for business. |  |
| By the summer of 1997 the store had become too small. During the fall and winter of 97-98 we expanded to the present store size. |  |
